Buyer representative – to locate sources of seafood product and processors. Work closely with the processors applying all or any of the below as necessary. Assist with negotiations commercial or technical. Assure standards, delivery schedules and Quality are met & maintained.

Marketing & Sales – locate markets for processors with resources available to maximize profits of their operations.

Post harvest fisheries – work with local fishermen and other stakeholders to improve conditions between the catching and the processing plant or fresh market to improve the quality of the seafood product and thus marketability and value.

Production – work with management teams to install new or improve existing Production & Quality Control methods & conditions to increase yields, quality and profitability.

Quality – work with management teams to install new or improve existing Quality Assurance systems to be truly effective. This would contribute greatly to avoiding potential problems with buyers and regulatory agencies.

Technical Development and R&D – To develop processes which are efficient and cost effective to improve profitability and meet buyer and regulatory requirements. To develop new products & packaging to respond to market and buyer demands.

Food Safety Programs – To develop complete QMS based Food Safety programs which would encompass all of the above plus real SSOP (SCP), GMP. A total QMS package ensures consistent and reliable control over Food Safety.

Regulatory issues – investigations into reasons for regulatory (USFDA, USDC,  EU, DFO, AVA, AQUIS, SABS) detentions and refusals. Then recommend and apply remedial action for short, medium and long term solutions.

Regulatory programs – current mandatory programs such as bio-terrorism, allergens, traceability. Guidance with analyzing, designing and installing real effective working programs that would stand up to scrutiny under audit.

Audits – perform 3rd party audits to buyer or SSF format. Pre audit preparation for buyer / 3rd party, USFDA, EU or BRC audits. 100% pass rate at HIGHER level for BRC.
